What: I’m studying mass transfer (Chemical Engineering 120C), specifically diffusion across thin films and membranes.
How: My study strategy is to rewrite my notes into a new notebook, incorporating additional information from the textbook and the notes my professor posts online. I also use different colors to highlight important information.
Why: By reviewing my notes within 24 hours of taking them, I retain much more information from lecture. Also, it is easier to study for exams because my handwriting is usually much better the second time around, when I can actually take the time to write neatly. :P
